Considering the end of Dirge of Cerberus, you would think there would be a DOC sequel, but Vincent may not be as strong, since he lost Chaos. So, a DOC sequel wouldn't make sense. So a VII sequel is an option. So what do you think about it?
I'm actually kind of ambivalent about a sequel - the compilation in my opinion is already too expansive. It's piling one disaster upon another upon another; it gets a bit too unrealistically corny, and somewhat takes away from the 'finality' of the original (FFVII). How can a character have so many 'life/death/revelational' sequences without going crazy?
It's like saying "There was a nuclear bomb two years ago; there's a nuclear bomb right now; there will be a nuclear bomb two years into the future". Ultimately, it's difficult to experience a change from each nuclear bomb, because they continually lose impact.

Well said. But it's pretty much guaranteed to happen. DoC left to many things unanswered. So what do you guys think of this Genesis? And/or his future significance. With G still alive, the story can go many different ways. So any predictions?
With Genesis at the end of the game it does make you think "Will there be another?", but if the creators do make another FF VII game pretty soon everyone's going to get tired of it. It's like Yurian said...too expansive. The games already lasted for quite a few years and it's bound to die out soon.
To a certain degree I would like to see a third sequal to Final Fantasy VII. But as Yurian said, eventually it gets unrealistically corny. Even though the FFVII compilation might "end," the ending will never satisfy fans because they want to know more. I say just make an ending up yourself.

There is sort of a sequel with DoC. For all you Verizon Wireless customers, there is a mobile game out that adds to the story, it's called "The Lost Episodes." I only played like 10 minutes of the game then got P/Oed on the whole gameplay with thumb moving around in directions on the keypad.
