I admit that I love wikipedia because it's simple to find something. But you can't always rely on it. Especially since Square hasn't really announced the name, so we can't be positive that Oji is his actual name.
Ugh... Wikipedia. Unreliable source. "Oji" is the result of a Google translated page. Sorry but that misinformation is already on some sites. Also, his hair's not blue.

I played Vagrant Story and enjoyed FF Tactics. That is why I love FFXII.

Oji the protagonist is a mysterious young man with dark blue-ish gray hair with matching eyes. He is the last heir to a dynasty, ruling the only remaining city in the world which controls crystals. He protects his home from marauders that plan to conquer the city and take the crystals as their own. He wields a number of different weapons, including swords, spears, and lances, and can even induce them (telekinetically or otherwise) to independently move in the air to form a whirling barrier around himself. He has also demonstrated the power of instantaneous teleportation. His physical features seem to change depending on his actions, as his eye color turns red when holding his sword and his hair flashes white when teleporting. Nomura has said that his eye color will change to more colors, some scans have shown him with bright yellow eyes when holding a different sword, and other colors like green. As hinted by Nomura, it has been shown he can use magic as surrounding the white-robed figure with numerous swords.
Nomura has also confirmed that a heroine, parallel to the protagonist, will be present in the game.
Other revealed characters are the mysterious soldiers. These unknown warriors wear medieval-styled armor, but also carry assault rifles resembling modern automatic weapons. Another character revealed is a new character wearing all white (a possibly symbolic contrast from the protagonist's darker clothing) introduced in the new trailer. The character is seen in protagonist's building near the castle as they both cast spells at each other, implying that they are enemies.

Ok please don't quadruple post, click Edit and add stuff to your original post if you forget things.
Also, even if it does say that on Wiki, like we've all said, it's not accurate. Some random person could easilly have gone in there and edited it. Until we get an official announcement from S-E that that's his name, don't believe any new info that Wiki gives you.
And I for one hope that's not his name, it doesn't suit him at all and it sounds stupid.
well looking at the picture from a scan below............his eyes are crimson with a orangy tint to it when the light reflects on it.......not yellow
That quote from Wiki also says they glow yellow when holding a different sword though - as you can see in that scan he's not holding a sword, so that point is irrelevent.
didnt i already state that wiki isnt 100% accurate....
unless its offically said then his eyes glowing yellow as said in 'wiki' isnt true
I know Wiki isn't dependable, I've been saying it throughout this whole thread >.>
My point was that you're making a point about Wiki saying that his eyes glow yellow when holding a sword, and then you show a picture where he isn't even holding a sword. That doesn't prove anything. If you wanted to prove that Wiki isn't dependable then you should show some pictures where he is holding a sword and his eyes aren't yellow.
Besides, S-E doesn't need to officially announce that his eyes glow yellow if we can clearly see it for ourselves in an image - the thing is, I haven't seen such an image.

----Oh, really? To the observant artist, it's not blue. Man, did Wiki take over you too?
Firstly, jam3zs, don't post multiple times in a row again. You're new so I'll let it go this time, but next time will result in an infraction.
Secondly, I remember back before FFXII was released, Wiki had a shit load of info on the game that turned to be false after the game was released. I find that proof enough they're unreliable until the game actually comes out, or Nomura actually says something.

Official credible game sites have clearly stated that the main character is STILL NAMELESS!! Further Wikipedia can't be fully relied upon cause it's constantly being edited and re-written.

His name is not "Oji." Rather, "Oji" is his status. In Japanese, "Oji," or more correctly, "ouji" means "prince," so most likely the person who inserted that bit into the Wiki article misunderstood a... well, mistranslation.
