I personally think the whole story about the parents overdosing Madeline and disposing of her body is utter crap. Any body else got any theories or suggestions on Madelines dissapearance or the obvious lack of interest from Portugese police?

Screw me i have no ideas.
But all police have against her parents is a spec...A SPEC! Of blood found in a car they hired like 25 days later. Bullshiz.

Plus wouldn't any half decent parent know NOT to dump their own childs body if they did so, any respectable person would at least dial for an ambulance, not forget it because they supposedly 'killed' their own child and dump the body somewhere.

Realistically, why would they do that?

I dont belive the macanns are responsible for any ill doing towards Madaline. However they were grossly irrsponsable leaving the children alone in the apartment.
but thats not the issue.
Unfortunatly It doesnt look good for her.
there are really only three possibilities
1 she was taken by/ sold to a couple that carnt have children of there own (yes sold there is a massive black market in it)
2 the poor little darling has been murdered
or 3 and I hate even thinking of this one she is being trafficed out there somewhere.

As for the portuguse police what a joke they didn't start looking for her for days afterwards and i sincerly hope the macanns or the british government files some sort of prosicution for gross incompitance.

Hi rev.
madaline macann went missing on the 3rd of may from the apartment her family were staying in while on holiday in portugal. unfortunatly she still hasn't been found and there is no clue what so ever as to where she is.
The portuguese police are now trying to pin it on her parents based on the speck of blood that was found in a hire car that her parents hired 25 days after her dissaperance.

I think someone kidnapped her definately, and went out of the country, or otherwise, has her locked up somewhere. It's harsh what's been done. I just don't see this having a happy ending at all.

I honestly dont care. The amount of kids that go missing every day and have more evidence than this arent published on the news, yet it would find them quicker if they were. The only thing thats keeping hope for finding her is the bullshit the news spits out on a daily basis.

Couldn't they just DNA test the blood to see if it's Madaline's? Or is the blood to old?

They are testing the blood. the ting is Dna testing looks for certain markers which as all of the macanns have been in the any one of them could share these markers with madaline. so They would have to find a compleate strand of DNA. and considering this is litrally a tiny speck of blood the chances of that are slim. plus the prisecution would need a lot more evidence than that to actually have a chance in a court case.
