Only today i noticed that the soldiers screenshot (that with soldiers from the E3 2006 trailer) had a "real time" description in its link, yet i found it in another site and the words "supposedly real time" were mentioned... The question is, do you believe its really a real time screen?
After seeing MGS4 i'm faithfull about grafics but this one is extremelly high quality to be real time. I don't believe, and you?

A HD Helmet. I have faith that the picture is real-time just extremely touched up and smooth with some more details that would drop the FPS to shit. Like that Heavenly Sword picture of Nariko.
Its most likely real-time, they wouldn't make such a big deal about all the trailer footage being real time and than just lie about it. Unless we have another Killzone 2

But the question here is that the trailer features CG and real time... The start inside the train (which looks like doomtrain of FFVIII O.o) and the end against the boss are CG, no doubt. All the middle part is real time, but even the grafics being impressive the soldiers have visibly square legs (and its really annoying when you pause the trailer and take a look at their square legs), plus the texture is extremely better in the picture.
Even if that picture is a real time, its a extremely polished one (like desi said) and so its almost like it isnt real time cause you wont see that while playing actually...

after seeing the killzone demo, I'd have to say that the final fantasy XIII trailer is real time. And don't forget the PS3 is fucking powerful, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. The final product will look way better, shit at the tokyo game show, we will hopefully see it.
But the graphics on the PS3 might one day become better than this, I do believe the white engine only uses four of the six, uh, what are they called? I forgot.
Lots of Speculation here. Indeed, only four of the six...uh....damn...I forget too.
Anyway, the PS3's capabilities aren't even being remotely tapped yet. Developers are taking it slow to prevent another 360 issue with the systems.
It aches to thing its going to be so long until we get our greedy little hands on these epic titles. But the longer it takes says that's just how much effort they put into making this game excellent.
