In the throne room (?) when the protagonist leaves, has anyone notice there is a layer of water on the floor? Look closely and you'll see ripples.

Actually, the water may be important, my not pivotal, but it probably plays a roll. An experienced artist wouldn't something in the picture that did not serve some type of purpose, great or small. Note later in the trailer when his weapons appear at first they look like water. And the bullets don't seem to penetrate the water like shield. I think the water plays a role in his weapons.
Did you really not notice the water? Well like Lucrecia says, I assume it's from the storm taking place and the fact that his throne room lacks a roof.
I suppose the quality of the trailer we have is pretty awful...I could understand people not noticing it I guess. Then again, where did people think the footsteps in water sound was coming from?

I think u might have a point. If crystals r used to power the weapons, then the crystal could be an elemental crystal, which could be water or ice. either way that is why the floor might be wet.

That seems pretty likely.
Since magical element spells are part of the Final Fantasy series.
I'd just like at least to have a HD quality trailer, i don't get why they haven't release it .
Guys you need to think OUTSIDE the box, now it may but this is just MENTAL and probably isn't cos it is MENTAL and would be MENTAL for square to add it, it could be...rain.
