This news is stupid so I won't put it on the front page but I may as well relay it to you guys. Game Informer has reported (amongst other barely believable things) on a rumor that Final Fantasy XIII is being delayed until Late 2008. Here is the quote:
FF XIII: Word is the game is a mess right now and the localization process is expected to take a year. The game will not come out in Japan until the end of 08. And finally PS3 Achievements will be available in games coming out this Holiday season will have them. Similar to the 360 where an achievement notice pops up. Not sure if 3rd parties will be required to do the same.
Beside the fact that there hasn't even been a release date given to us by Square yet they've reported a "delay" which surely requires a release date in the first place. The rest of this post is just me ranting even more.
The other rumors they report are almost as stupid. A 40GB PS3 being released just as they're phasing out the 60GB version is idiotic and an achievement system on the PS3? No shit, it's already featured in Home so why wouldn't there be other ways to view your achievements. Game Informer is just playing the numbers. The likelihood of a late 2008 release for XIII is high so they're simply guessing the most likely release date to later on say "we were right". Rant over.
God everybody knows Game Informer bullshits most of the time.

I'm gonna have to agree with her Desi :/. Game Informer annoys the hell out of me. EGM isn't as bad but they do fuel some annoying rumors. Then again they're partnered with 1up which we all know sucks. Anyway our PC Gamer had a section on Fallout 3 so we don't need GI <3.
Famitsu Wave was too short i thought :/ It never had anything decent in it. Famitsu Playstation on the other hand has everything you could ever want but you can't import that.
They should put a disclaimer on thier magazine about baseing everything they talk about on rumors. But really give me facts and some kind of confirmation from a REAL source don't just talk out of your ass... well a mag doesn't have an ass but ya know...lol. I agree with UltimaMasamune Internet is the way to go most of the time. Mags are last resort for me.
