Its been a while since we've had a new serious topic thread. No need to fear people cause as long as Kira is here, there shall be new threads.


Ok, what are your thoughts on free speech? I shouldn't have to go into detail because it should be obvious what it means. Personally, I think its okay to say what you want as long as it doesn't go over the limit. (muder threats for example). I think everybody knows what "your entitled to your own opinions" means.

I think freespeech is fine, only its because some people dislike other people having opinions that it seems like free speech doesnt exist. Free speech is about opinions, but some people morph their opinions into racism, sexism and such.

Nicely put, Ringlets. =D I really have nothing to add to her explanation since I wholly agree with it.

Free speech is cool. You can say anything, but the good thing about this is that most people are too chicken to say anything offensive to a large group of people. Thus we avoid many hassles. And the guys who do say rambunctious things are warned, fined, and arrested in that order. Democracy is great.
