[Roleplaying Conduct]
Although personal views may be different amongst players and their respective characters, a mutual respect is necessary in order to smoothly continue the roleplay. The following ground rules are put in place in order to guide players’ respect towards others.1) Respect others: flaming, discrimination, bullying, criticizing, spamming, advertising, and all other negative forms of conduct are not allowed.
2) Use common sense: think before you ask questions. By participating in a roleplay, your knowledge of the background plot and of the facts created by other players is a must in order to prevent needless posting.
3) Write properly: correct English – grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. – are necessary in order to efficiently convey your thoughts to other players.
4) Explain: elaborate upon your explanations and the motives behind your character with descriptive – and creative – terms. Everything has a purpose, and everything has a consequence.
5) Follow the guidelines set by the background plot.
6) Make it realistic: do not try and create a Shakespearian etude encircling the imminent issues of the human psychology, because more than likely your fellow players will not follow your plan of creating a Shakespearian etude encircling the imminent issues of the human psychology.
7) Be dedicated: by signing up to a roleplay, you have agreed to actively participate in it. Especially when a roleplay is reaching its climax, missing players makes it difficult to smoothly continue the roleplay. Make arrangements before hand if you are not able to continue, or if you will be absent for a certain amount of time.
8) Be creative!
