Well..I found the reason...because if you don't have a heart and there's a person that is your only friend then..you feel emotions and think.."Hey I have a heart!"
Need I say it? Would a guy said to another guy about his guy friend being the only one that makes him feel like he had a heart? Well, yes, yes. That can be interpret as very closed friend. Almost or even, brother-like. But, can't we have our dream...XDDD

brothers don't even go that far. Saying someone makes you good when you are with them is fine but adding physical organs into the mix especially the one people use to explain love is a sign of a homosexual relationship.

Dunno if you've completed Kingdom Hearts II or seen the ending or not, but that scene between Alex and Roxas is rather... Cloud and Zack don't say things like that to each other. D:

True, however some brothers do. Especially those that are very close, but then nowaday, you rarely see brothers who would have these kind of bonding affections.
Although, in Axel and Roxas cases, Axel could have maybe felt that Roxas is the only person that makes him feel like his existences is important. Being an unknown, the one truth that they all must keep in mind is that they have no heart. Thus, meaning they cannot feel, but when Roxas came into the organization and soon became a friend to Axel (or vice versa), he make him feel important which changes him. Like his empty existence and presence is enough for Roxas existences. (Needless to say, maybe Roxas was very unstable when he was brought into the organization.) Also, it could also be that Roxas is the only one that is like family to Axel. Makes Axel feel like family, which makes him feel like he somehow have a heart. Unlike how the other members that makes him feel like he's only a tool to be used and sooner or later discard.
Axel and Roxas are like brothers and the only reason Axel said "questionable things" that may seem Axel was into Roxas was to attract female players to the game. Of course in the world of Fanfiction and deviantART, then yes. Axel and Roxas are completely into each other and have had sex god knows how many times.
See that don't fly with me. Their connection is way deeper/intimate then some pure childish friendship. Gilgamesh and Enkidu share a similar friendship that you accuse Axel and Roxas for having but Enkidu was made specifically to match up with Gilgamesh. To calm the rowdy king and save the people of Uruk. Roxas is the balance of Sora and Axel the balance of whoever.
Endless is only stating that because Roxas is nice to Axel he feels close to him which would work if they were the only two people in existence. Like a Adam and Eve thing. The "he made me feel like I had a heart" and the crying are a little to far for just being someones only friend. I think it is just entertainment that has a hard time mimicing emotions without exaggerating. That is why I say Axel likes Roxas, I can't say the same for Roxas though.
