FFXIII versus or FFXIII?

which do you think will be a better game, FFXIII or FFXIII versus? i personally think versus will be a better game.

I like the aura of Versus more, but since FF13 is the main game in the compilation, it could have a better plot.. Both of them will be great, I can assure that.

I think the Versus setting looks cooler but FFXIII still does look very good. I need to see more of both and some Versus gameplay to decide I think.

hmm ya good point. but still, I liked kingdom hearts... and i dunno if this is correct or not, but i heard that the people who made kingdom hearts are doing versus. so the gameplay may be like kingdom hearts, and thats cool

I think that FFXIII will be better because it is the main game in the series, and I like that one more because of the Futurisiticy.

I like the look of XIII better. The world looks and sounds great plus Lightning is beyond badass.

They both look very well directed so far, however as we haven't seen any Versus gameplay I'm gonna vote for XIII. Stick with RPGs which is what Square is known best for

I've always enjoyed those videogames where you can run freely around on rooftops and on the walls while combating against a multitude of aerial based enemies. I remember how videogames like Shinobi and Nightshade didn't get that much attention, but I liked the settings and gameplay within those games. DMC and God of War are pretty sweet too. In this aspect Versus seems more interesting to me. I'm also intrigued by Nomura's intentions for the storyline of Versus - the more he reveals about the story, the more I get anxious because I'm basing my own story on reality as well - the REAL reality with just the foundations of physics and limited aesthetics based in fantasy.

But because I've enjoyed FFVII and FFX so much, I know that FFXIII will be great as well.

I can't really judge either yet, but from what I do know about Versus, my vote goes to it. I like how it should be the darker side of the series. And with its gameplay being similar to KH, it should be pretty fast paced and fun. I don't know much about the story yet, so I'll call this a pre-judgment.

Well, I think both look awesome, but since I'm a big action-rpg fan I voted for versus. Also, it seems so dark and I like that.

I gotta agree with Yurian the more is revealed the more I get excited about this versus game. It better be good since I have such high expectations.

But yeah, we'll see when we'll play them.

At the moment I am leaning towards XIII than VXIII purely cos ive seen more of it, but maybe in the future I will change my mind.

Honestly, can't really say until I play them, but for now, the one that interested me the most is Versus.
