1UP.com seem to have a release date for Final Fantasy XIII to the bottom left of this article the release date says 09/15/2007...I dont usually trust 1UP.com but i havent seen another date anywhere else.
Hey release dates are all well and good, but how the heck are we ment to finish playing all these final fantasy games if they release so many , I haven't checked yet but has Final Fantasy XII been released yet?
It feels like FF games are coming fast now, but we can call FFXI a break. (Who play's that?) And between that it has been some fillers. (ffx-2, KH-series Games that hardly come to EU US Austraila like dragon quest.)
But yes, Now we first have ffxii then ffxiii and last ffVxii. I think it will be a one year difference between each of the games.

It feels like FF games are coming fast now, but we can call FFXI a break. (Who play's that?)
It is the fourth or fifth rank MMO in the world with number of players. OH and i play it.
But also the FF games have truely been slowing down. Around when 8 came out they started to come out once a year then a drought hit with XII. i mean it just came out this year(march) in japan while XI came out in 2002. Other then X-2 coming out after it and the random remakes there hasn't been any FF's really released except for remakes and spin-offs(X-2, dirge of cerberus).
I reckon FFXI introduced more people to FF than impressed current fans. Most FF fans i talk too dont care about XI because you have to buy it and keep paying monthly. o_O Id never buy an RPG like that.

That is all pure guess-work! Even if Square-Enix actually did tell them a release date. Think about it, how many times has Square-Enix delayed their release date? Well I think 1up.com is really ignorant to be even trying to set a release date on a game that was just announced.
No way it's coming out in 2007 when they just finished the storyline, the white engine is still in progress and the game is only 3% done. There has to be a miracle for that to happen.
I don't know, I'm guessing they say it will be late 2007, but it will be out summer 2008
