Make it an action rpg, use demi god lightinig and main character, bring back summons and i wont care about how shit the story is. I personaly think action jrpg's are the way to go. Also remove the anime style cut scenes, theyre embarassing to watch.

Well their primary audience is the japanese one so the "anime style" cut scenes will pretty much stay..even though I don't see anything that's anime about them...

I don't know what is wrong with you of all the people! If you don't like the game, just don't buy it, and stop supporting Square Enix altogether. If you're trying to convince people that the game is not worth their money, then go complain somewhere else, not in this forum.
I'm going to tell you a story. I was once a big Nokia fan. I bought Nokia's buttons-based phones and smartphones, such as the N97. Then I came to realize that I did not like the phones because they are so laggy, so I stopped using Nokia and bought an iPhone. The iPhone is so much easier to use compared to Nokia: it's true dynamic scrolling, pinch-to-zoom, and much more — these features are outstanding among every other smartphones. From then, I started complaining about how bad Nokia phones are on Nokia's promotional videos on YouTube. But later I realized I was doing a very stupid thing — my cavils have no effect on Nokia-lovers, which I once was, who remain faithful of the company and its products. I stopped complaining.
You see? Your complaints will not change my mind, as well as many others'. And please make sure you know what you're doing before you post anything insulting in this forum.
We're not saying that they will change your mind, and honestly, I don't think the majority of us care about doing so. I can't answer for everyone else here, but I think it's straight up embarrassing that Square decides to torture themselves by making shitty sequels (again, just my opinion, feel free to disagree). You can bet your bottom dollar I won't be spending $60 on the game if it, in fact, actually exists in the future, but this coming from a company that HAS put out phenomenal games in the past makes me want to cry.
I want Square to do well. I really do. I don't want them to fail. But I can't take them seriously anymore after their recent...adventures.

Boy do you think I give a fuck about if you decide to buy this or not? It's not my money you're spending so I don't care. I just expected better from the people pushed out final fantasy X. and because X-2 was a gawd awful sequel that one would hope to never be repeated again. I still have nightmares . also, it's kind of obvious that you haven't been on this forum a lot or else you would've have noticed how well people joke with each other, and that people won't bash you for not liking something, or give that much of a fuck about trying to change your opinions. we are not the OMM, NOM, Tea party, or Christian Conservatives.

I would ignore them, these people are just butt hurt that Versus is taking to long and will likely skip this Gen of consoles, heck XIII-3 might skip this Gen too. Personally Versus would be even better on the PS4, so I wouldn't mind if they do that. XIII-3 will be dope!!

Remember that's just an opinion and probably most peoples, but not every ones. There are a lot who like XIII, and clearly it's enough people for them make another. That's almost the same as people hating on Modern Warfare, there's a butt load of people who bash it, yet it's the most popular. XIII fans are more quite about it and just simply enjoy the game, of course there's is more people who like Versus, but I think you get my point. Versus will simply be groundbreaking in every possible way. In the meantime I will enjoy XIII.
