Yes, I know that the Wii also had the classic controller (or whatever it was called), but as I understand it, that was more to do with Gamecube BC than saying "Hey, you might think this is a shit idea, have this instead."

So, I just watched the Mircosoft conference and for the most part, it was terrible. They announced a whole bunch of new gimmicky Xbox and Kinect features, like more sports options, a web browser, Street Glass, and some new Kinect games which look like utter crap. Also Usher danced around on stage in what is, without a doubt, the weirdest thing to happen at E3.
Some cool things, though:
-Halo 4 looked decent, I'm glad that there's a new enemy this time around. It'll be interesting to see where they take it.
-I'm not sure about RE6 yet, but from what I saw, the graphics looked phenomenal. Gameplay looks the same as every other RE.
- Black Ops II, and I hate to say this, looks kind of fun. ;;
- The South Park RPG got a trailer and I laughed. I kind of want it now.
- TOMB RAIDER SLAYED ME IN MIND, BODY, AND SOUL. It was absolutely fantastic. I need it in my life ASAP. (Even though I'm not sure how I feel about them announcing DLC )
-Splinter Cell: Blacklight looks flawless both in the gameplay and Kinect voice recognition department. I might just end up buying a Kinect because of it.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Splinter Cell: Blacklight voice rec was scripted. Or it has superb accent recognition, which is laughable.
"really like to see a tree in tomb raider" is what the tablet transcribed when I used its voice recognition. What I said was "I really like the look of the archery in Tomb Raider." BUT YES, I WILL REALLY LIKE TO SEE A TREE AND IT SEEMS THE GAME WILL DELIVER.
CoD BlOps 2 actually looks pretty good. 2025 Los Angeles was pretty sexy. You know, before it was destroyed.
