I've never heard of it. Could you go into detail? Maybe a link? I kind of see how this is going though. I don't believe in these kind of things because theres no evidence to support it. Yea, you can say hat BigFoot exists, but if I dont see any evidence, its lame.

Yep it doesn't exist. A monster like that would have shown up by now if its been living in that lake for so long. Especially if its in a lake. 0.o

There's even a new video on Youtube :O

I can't really believe Nessy exists There must be so much equipment monitoring that lake to see if there is anything living in it. Also how could one creature have lived so long? They should put submarine a nuclear submarine into the lake to finally give us an answer.

I watched a Discovery Channel program on the Loch Ness monster. They proved with science that she most likely wasn't real. (Of course I saw this about 3 years ago and can't remember anything. ><)

Bullshit. If the Loch Ness stayed up long enough to be filmed, why did no one capture it?

I'm not sure if it's real or not. One minute there are facts that can make it seem real, and then the next minute it seems like a total fake. I've seen shows that have shown it to be real, but then again who knows. This legend has been around for so long that you would have to think how could it possibly be able to survive for such a long period of time without anyone catching really good footage of the Loch Ness Monster.

I remember watching something on a group of people who claimed to have discovered the corpes of a Nessie-like monster in the ocean, but they were idiots and decided to eat it rather than show it off. They still have the bones though, and it looks kinda real. A bit small though, 3 meters long at best.

Ugh, they actually ate the corpse? Well, if that's true then that's something fact like to the rumors of the Loch Ness Monster. I guess no one will ever figure out if it's something real or not.

I only think they ate the corpes. I'm not really sure what they did with it. I personally think that it was a hoax.

Laugh. Out loud.

The habitat itself could not sustain a monster that big. A creature of such proportions would screw over the ecosystem so badly that it would eventually kill itself.

But assuming that the size itself were part of actual TRUE sightings and not just hoaxes or mistakening logs for a monster, the only two really not-so mundane (and least plausible) explanations are:
a) the plesiosaur
b) kelpie
So you can choose between a sizable dinosaur that somehow survived in a lake for all these years, or a mythological creature... or just assume that both are too implausible.

Other explanations are a lot more plausible and would suggest some sort of exaggeration in size. They also suggest that -- NO, there is no plesiosaurus like creature living in the waters of one of Scotland's lakes.

Eh, sorry, Nessie. Same applies to you, Ogopogo.

Or it could be an undiscovered breed of long necked seals, since some people reported seeing it on land, claiming it looked like a seal.

btw, how does Nessie fall under Serious Discussion?

Well, since we were talking about life on other planets, I thought we should disscuss some of the fabled creatures that live on earth. Nessie, Bigfoot, Etc.

The Skunkman! naw kidding.

Subbed

YOU HAVE TO WATCH THAT. My dad showed me it awhile ago, unabridged, and not on youtube. Apparently, it's 100% real. Not for the faint of heart.

Read after you watch.
Spoiler:
If you wonder what they're saying, they basically talk about stuff, then pick up the girl. She says she died 2 years ago, they don't believe her, she points to the place where she says she died, and...

Spoiler:
Apparently the kids, except for one, were found dead in the car the following day.

Then watch that. Good follow up, eh?

After some research, it appears that the authenticity of the video is debatable. Every site seems to have a different opinion.
