I do not believe Versus will be delayed, since the storyline has been explained already. Look at XIII-2 and watch the ending. That was a teaser for Versus. Also take notice of how Agito is progressing, and maybe it's ending as well was interconnected to all of the XIII titles.

Sorry but Chat Noir is right, they games are not connected outside of the mythology, it a was one of the first bits of official news we got when the project was announced.
I'm sure it isn't being cancel. Square really cares about their reputation but at the moment, it's not looking too good anyway. Nomura says he's prepare to share the new information, he just can't right away. But the unrelated part gets me. Wonder what that is. And I love how some people think its "Trollmura" he's only the director of the game. He isn't allowed to say sh*t if the higher ups don't want him to. Such as Wada...big mastermind behind it all.

Only they can make an announcement of an announcement. Even Capcom is better at announcement than SE and we all know how evil that company already is.

Let me break it down for you square:
When you make the retarded decision to announce an announcement, the next announcement has to be THAT ANNOUNCEMENT you announced, not another stall announcement x20.
So many announcements it doesn't sound like a real word anymore.
so when they make another announcement, it will be the same footage with maybe ten seconds worth of new footage and then six months to a year later they'll announce that it's been pushed back. yet again screwing kh fans who will instead get some filler arc game about sora, riku, or xehanort, or ven, or the organization featuring another new enemy who you can not only capture but have as the main playable character through out the whole game
maybe it is a name change, if Versus is going to be epic why put 13 in front of it. i mean the 13 series passes the time but its fuck all compared to the rest of the final fantasy series. and to be honest 13 is slowly evolving into Kingdom hearts.
im wondering if theve changed the story abit i mean at first it was about Etro but 13-2 is also about Etro so by the time weve played 60+ hours of versus are we going to get more of her retarded uselessness. or are they going to focus on another part of the myth. or maybe this game is no longer part of the FNC and is going solo.
in fact its been so long since it was first released i may not of got any of this info correct and may have imagined the whole thing.

It did have an initial release window...maybe not a concrete date but when it was originally shown/announced (or whatever you want to call it these days) they said clearly that XIII would come out with Versus XIII to follow afterwards (like in a year or so).
So yes in my mind its been delayed countless times. I don't care at this point however if had a solid date to begin with. The game was due a while back and its still not out.
Kingdom Hearts 3...lol. At this point I think its safe to assume that it won't be hitting this generation of consoles. If anything Square Enix is waiting for the xbox 720/ps4 before even deciding to make the damn game.
Like I said they still have to finish up the "main" FFXIII series because surely they're not gonna leave it at that ridiculous cliffhanger in XIII-2. Only after that is done with Versus XIII come out and then perhaps KH3....
As another person mentioned it wouldn't surprise me one bit if they changed the name and made it FiF 15 (XV I believe in roman numerals).....
