My *BLEEEEP*ing god. What an idiot. I think he needs lessons in meteorology myself. Unlike Hurricanes, Tornadoes are smaller and the winds in the vortex more concentrated. What I mean is, a hurricane could trash up the entire coast but a tornado on the other hand, could destroy one house/street/town yet leave another totally unscathed. As for living in tornado prone areas? Well where else are the entire people of the American midwest gonna move to? It`s a massive region. Also, Tornadoes can happen in any country that you go to except the poles. You can`t fully avoid adverse weather fullstop. Let`s face facts here, all the praying in the world ain`t gonna stop a storm from happening. It`s not god but mother nature that unleashes them. Despite the ferocity of these storms we need em. Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Lightning etc etc...The common denominater here is heat. When enough heat (amongst other things) builds up any of these weather conditions can happen. Weather acts as a cooling mechanism for the planet hence why it generally feels colder after a storm.
As for God Vs Gay...I`m not even going to go there.
It`s Right Wings like him that give religion a bad name. Then again... Given his age though, he`s most likey to have come from a generation with very traditional views on certain subjects (like gay people etc). Those kinds of people will never change, alas.
