For these, for example oerba... do you need to explore all time periods? because i have got 200af and 300af

It depends. Sometimes the map isn't fully accessible in one time period, so you have to go to other time periods to fill it in completely. But otherwise, the maps count as one.

Be careful of the Augusta Tower ones because you'll have to go to each individual floor to make sure you have 100%. The map in your menu may say 86% for example but it won't tell you which floors or which time you didn't explore.

Academia is the hardest because there are a couple spots literally the size of a closet that you have to walk into. Be thorough!

Regarding Augusta Tower, don't forget to explore the areas where you had to throw mog in order to get a treasure chest. That confused the heck out of me. Hope it helps.
