FFXIII sprint shoes

I am in Ch 11 mission 7. I've read that the mission boss drops Tetradic Crown and Tiaras. I have fought him dozens of time but he never drops anything. Is that hard to get one or am I doing something wrong? Yes I have a collector catalog max out.

It is naturally hard to get the Tetradefense items from Bituitus, after all the common drop is 5% and the rare drop is 1%. A 5-star battle rating will help your chances of getting the Tetradic Tiara from him as it will boost the rare item drop chance.

There are other ways of obtaining these items besides fighting him if drop rate is too low. There are treasure spheres that have at least two. Or you can upgrade them from the basic materials.

It`s all a matter of luck. However, if you have a powerful party that can take Bituitus out in less than a minute or so and get a five star rating then that helps as does having a collector and connisseur catalogue. I must say i`ve never had too much trouble recieving a tetric crown, tho the tiara is harder to get. Within 5 mins or so i wound up with two crowns and one tiara.

If I'm correct,it's that giant monster,I got many tiaras since he was my main source of CP

just try to kill him as fast as possible, the quicker you kill something, the higher your chances are of getting an item from it, im able to defeat this mission in about 50 seconds, and after 40 times of repeating it i had 3 tiaras and 11 crowns. but, if you dismantle a tetradic crown at star level, you will get hermes sandles, upgrade the hermes sandles to star, then use a perovskite, and then u will have sprint shoes, you can buy perovskite from the motherload for 30000 (if you are having trouble getting the money, sell the bomb cores you get from the missions) hope i helped

I stopped playing the game after the ending. I don't know how you could have the patience to go for all those secret bosses and items.
