I bet your talking about FF3 right? Too bad he didn't have the will to make it on the PS2 to make it better. (I've never played FF3, but someday I will)
Dragon Quest is lame anyway. DQ8 had a lot of things that a great RPG lacked. Engaging story, Unique characters/development, charming music, fun gameplay. I quit at the part where you have to fight Dhoulmagus because I couldn't take it anymore. (I was underleveled but I would have to bust my balls to get a high level, which I was lazy to do)
I mainly played it because of the Monster Arena, I remember when Dragon Warrior Monsters came out for the Gameboy, I played that for over 300 hours.......
After I beat the arena, I got bored and quit, Plus, it was way to hard to get money to buy new stuff....
They might as well have just made DQ9 on the PS3 or PSP because graphically, the game cant look better than DQ8 and the sound couldn't be any better either. And I'm positive that DS owners have never played the previous either. Its kind of like DMC4 on the 360, none of the 360 fans are going to have any idea whats going on with the plot since DMC used to be on Sony consoles.
But, you are right, like I said, they just want to make more money.....I am really starting to wonder when they are going to make an improver version of the DS with better graphics.
