Hello Final Fantasy XIII Forum, i stumbled upon this site by accident and liked what i saw so here i am.
23 year old male gamer from Pennsylvania, who is very laid back and love meeting new people. I am a pretty friendly guy, and will talk to just about anyone. I like Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain lol jk.
I have been a Final Fantasy fan Since 97 when VII first came out, and got hooked ever since. And not just to FF but RPG's in general, VII made me love the genre. I like all kinds of music of different genres from Mozart to Aaliyah to Slayer i love it all. I love me some action and suspense flicks but i do enjoy the romantic comedy from time to time.
I am a Lightning fan, and not cause shes hot, as i don't really go for girls anyway lol. Shes a strong female lead who didn't have to dress skanky, who took care of her sister and provided a stable life for her. And really took charge during a few scenes, she was not weak, she did not need a man to help her. I really hope to make some friends, and to just chat with like minded individuals. Thanks for reading as i know you must be tired lol.
You need to stagger Toriyama for his "stories" and put him out of existence.

And as for your bit up there about Lightning, I quite agree. Honestly, even Ashe from FF12 was a little bit too dependent on the male characters for my tastes. And Yuna from the 10 compilation... Well, when she broke out of her shell and became independent she pretty much dawned the sluttiest thing she could find.
I kinda love the fact that Lightning punches the muscular, super tall guy ALL THE TIME. Also, it looks like she has bullets in her gloves and that's a little hardcore and awesome.
Seriously, I wish that chick was my mother. There is no way someone could grow up as Lightning's kid and NOT turn out to be a completely amazing badass.

And yes! Yuna went full on slut mode, but even with the booty shorts it was nowhere near as bad as Rikku's outfit wtf was that?.
And i think everyone wishes they had a badass chick like Lightning for a mother. The opening of XIII-2 oozed badass to the highest degree, i wanted to see more of her.
I was fine with Serah being the mc, i just would have liked that SE was straight up with us.
Ah, never played either of those games so I don't have anything to judge them by.

I'm more irked that you don't get pretty much any other characters in your party. Thanks, and cool you are noob too but that was obvious looking at your join date. All i can tell you is T3B killed the PE series in one swoop, that's how bad the writing is. XIII was pretty good and i could understand it, not the usual toriyama affair.
