Final Fantasy X HD Remake Announced for PS3 and PS Vita

'nuff said.

Square apparently says the two version will be almost identical as far as specs are concerned. I'm sure that will be put up to the test once both version are actually shown.

Okay. So I bet a lot of die hard fans for Final Fantasy VII is totally pissed.

Oh my goodness. To see these characters in HD! I think to maintain the original game integrity, they would not change the battle system. The enhancement of graphics will be awe-inspiring. Adding new (secret) scenes and areas to explore would be lovely.

Right over "there" getting annoyed each time, because there is a clear cut difference between a port and a remake. And yes, I am unnecessarily uptighty about such things.

Well I suppose because "HD" is tacked in front of it kinda implies that the game is being remastered as opposed to remade entirely

But when you think about it, it isn't just a port either, they are doing all this stuff to improve it, including the visuals and audio.
