By the by, this feels really odd because I haven't said or heard the term "Negative Nancy" in a LONG TIME with the exception of today when I was with a friend and I called someone a Negative Nancy. Funny the term pops up again tonight.

What's also funny to me is the fact that while hanging with said friend we talked about this exact phenomenon. Wherein something or someone you either never heard of before or it's been a while since the last you've heard comes up and is mentioned and suddenly you're seeing or hearing said thing EVERYWHERE afterwards.

Is there a word for that?
