NOTE: IF YOU DONT HAVE A RELIGION PLEASE REFRAIN FROM POSTING IN THIS TOPIC BECAUSE I DONT FEEL LIKE READING: "OH RELIGION SUCKS, THERE AINT NO GOD BLAH BLAH BLAH." ALRIGHT? ALRIGHT.
My religion is Christian but I'm not really leaning in to a certain type of one. (Catholic, Jewish, etc.) But if I were to fall into a certain Christian category it would most likely be Babtist.

I'll post anyway, even if I'm far from ranting about it o_O.
Anyway, I'm agnostic if anything. I'm starting to lean towards atheism though, but... meh.

I used to be Buddhist (well not really, only cause my grandparents were) but we converted awhile ago. Actually, we weren't really buddhist to start with. =/
Well, I am not Catholic, but I think it might be because he died for us to have new life, so even though in the picture he is dead, it represents new life for the world.
Couldn't have said it any better myself L-A. I think it also shows the ultimate sacrifice. "For the wages of sin is death". But Jesus beat that when he, pure and innocent, died for us on the Cross.

But, um, wasn't he ressurected? And how does dying benefit us?
In any case, I'm atheist. Well, not really. I'm not too sure about the whole omnipotent being thing. It could exist, it could not. It's just the logic of the Bible and its views on God I don't care for much. So I guess that would make me more agnostic than atheist, but I think I'll stick to atheism for now.

The story is that Jesus was God's son, and God sent him down to earth which was full of sin, and that when God had his son killed it showed the ultimate sacrifice of love for us, the sinners who are unworthy. Also, it is said that when he died for us, he died for our own sin, so that if we commit ours lives to god, we are adimitted into heaven.
