Multiple swords

When i first saw that screen with all the swords it reminded me of Auron's Masamune for some reason. xD I think cos the middle one looks a little like it. I hope they dont all lock into one like AC. I wouldnt like them reusing such an original idea. :/

Some don't even look like swords. I think maybe one or two were spears but I have bad eyes. The swords do differ a lot though especially the ones with the long handles

No I don't think that they will combine but maybe you can switch from one to another in battle. Maybe the farther you get in the game the more you get to use and with each one you gain a bunch of new abilities.

I read in a magazine that you would be able to switch weapons right in the middle of the battle:S but I am not sure of how they are planning in doing it. I think the swords are really cool around him.

Yeah, I thought that. There might be a quick weapon change system like switching guns or sword on DMC3.

Maybe the weapon change system will be whats happening in the screenshot? I think it would be pretty cool if weapons materialized around him, would be pretty original and the PS3 can easily handle it

It would probably be kinda slow though so they could counter it by making it go all slow motion when you change weapons.

oh no you didn't!! Just from the screens we got to see though, he reminds me of Joachim from Castlevania: Lament of Innocence but with black hair and not a vampire(even though both eyes are red).

He is comparing the use of multiple weapons at once to Gilgamesh from FFV. saying that the boy is like gilgamesh in a way.

The one labeled "Quiver" reminds me more of a jousting pike with the protective handle shield thingy instead of a arrow holder. the "Gun" is insteresting though.

Nice. 11 items. But I must disagree on the arrow. Looks more like a mace or a staff to me.

An how the heck is that supposed to be a bow?

Looks like 4 of the weapons have engines on them.

Wow thats some real quality MS Paint work there

I don't really agree with alot of the less obvious weapons there. First the Two Daggers there definatly arent daggers. If you look at the trailer they both rotate together and are connected in the middle. It either looks like another double handed kind of sword or maybe a bow I suppose but its still very unclear. The 3 weapons on the right I think are like GHenrik said a mace, another form of sword and it does look alot like a jousting pike like Desi said which seems like a rather weird choice of weapon.

I checked and I can't really see the gun being anything else. It looks sort of like a gun but we can't be sure. Lets hope we get a nice HD trailer soon

I read that he has them on him at all times, but he doesn't only wield SWORDS, he also has lances, spears and other things, so I assume they meant even more things than we see in the trailer, so who knows what else he has. He can also probably fuse them together to create something insanely powerful. He's so hot, too. -sighs-

Much better labels. I was feeling the same way with the axe, second gun thingy, short sword, duel swords being totally different(look at the right ones handle), and that strange double-edged sword.
