OK, new info out via Kotaku and that article has a picture with an apt caption :


CRISES AVERTED

David O. Russel is no longer set to direct the Uncharted film. I'm sure you all remember that he's the one with the really skewed vision for what the Uncharted film should be like and he talked about what happens in the games and it actually had nothing to do with the games and he was getting a massive amount of the fan base riled up.

"The Hollywood trade publication states that Russell left the film over "creative differences" and that Sony's Columbia Pictures studio is looking for a new writer."

Hopefully this will also mean that the cast will be changed as well considering an Uncharted movie is only really in the early early planning stages. Fingers crossed for improvements.
