Meh, I don't have a DS but I might check it out if I get one. The original game never really grabbed my attention and a sidestory to it can only make it worse. DX
Yeah, I'm going to get this game on import as soon as it comes out in the US. From what I've heard it's supposed to be pretty cool, and is a decent attempt by a Japanese company to make an RTS game (not a genre they usually go for). It doesn't really play anything like FFXII so if you didn't like that game, you shouldn't let that cloud your judgement about this one.
As for the story, I was reading somewhere that the characters talk to eachother more in this game and that the plot is not as politically driven as FFXII. I think it's supposed to be a bit more light-hearted, but not in the same way as something like FFX-2.
Does any one from japan have this? Its not out in NA or Europe yet, but the japanese version is supposed to be popular over there. Its gonna have like 50 summons, which should be good. Plus it has flying people! Flying!
I have the US version on pre-order, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out. November 20 is the actual release date, so still a few weeks to go yet...
I hear they're making it harder for the western release and adding some extra bonuses and stuff (Yiazmat's coming back to taunt us all again!)
