Apparently a game called "The Ripper" is being developed. Now this will be probably be some corny peice of shit but I can only hope that some developer has the balls to make a Jack the Ripper simulation type of game. I can dream

the game itself will probly just be naughty bear + assassins creed and a bit of dead space's dismemberment (but with knifes)

Sounds rubbish if you play it from his perspective or from an investigative perspective. Either you kill a whopping five whores (can't do that in 10 minutes of GTA) or you get to spend years working with primitive policing techniques getting nowhere (wooooooo!). Yorkshire Ripper would be more interesting.

This is completely leaving aside the disturbing implications of your desire for a realistic sim of a serial killer who disembowled his victims. brb, phoning FBI.

If I made a game called Jack the Ripper it sure as fondue wouldn't be about the criminal, it'd be about a wandering fart cloud who's soul mission would be to intoxicate the world and spread his infectious flatulents across the very fabrics of time and space. But that's me.

Is there any info on the game?

oh oh oh maybe you could play as a detective and since they never caught jack (did they?) they could do some kinda conspiracy with it and go on with a sequal (i'd buy it)
