I. Sparx from Spyro I din't mind, he wasn't to be taken seriously anyway, but then i never played the "Legend of Spyro" franchise, only the original trilogy; which rock. Is he that annoying?
II. Globox from Rayman 2/3 in general I found to be a waste of graphics. pathetic name, words that come out of his mouth are flawed and he's just a slave to glutton being.
III. I'm a Tira fan too, so i'll have to agree with you on that.
IV. I can't believe you mentioned Edgar Ektor! 'Made it to and beat Edgar in Aero I, in II...ah, I couldn't pass that train...stage near the end...wasn't as cool as the tower stages in Aero I anyway. I'd also vote him but then...what about Zero the kamikaze Squirrel? He actually got his own spinoff game, and despite the not-too-shabby graphics, it's not as good as Aero.
Oh here's one; Lumine from Megaman X8. 'Pansy waste of scrapmetal...an unforgivable end(lets hope not), to the series. Sigma couldv'e easily corrupted and/or destroyed the kid. Wannabe, pathetic fail of a villan that he was...

I hate hate hate Rinoa. (she was oh so whiny and desperate...I couldn't believe that Squall...or anyone...would fall for her. so annoying.)
and Cait Sith.
I'm a racist when it comes to video games in that I usually hate any alien races in video games...like I never used Red XIII/Nanaki or Kimahri or any "animal" character in any of the Final Fantasies because furries creep me out, lol...except for Fran of course...because she's totally awesome/sexy.

I only played the first few hours of IX...and haven't finished it since....not because I didn't enjoy it, but because I didn't have the time =x.
IX turned me off for the longest time because most of the characters were weird races I didn't care for, lol...but when I started playing it I was pleasantly surprised. I'll have to finish it one day.
1 - Steiner (just the way he acts in front of Dagger because of Zidane just annoys me, grrr)
2 - Jecht (always annoying Tidus, yeah I know he's the crybaby, but you don't need to be so mean)
3 - Tidus (I wish I could control Yuna on both Final Fantasy X episodes!! Tidus means nothing for me he's just the crybaby like I said before!!)
4 - Queen Brahne (the ugly queen is here)
5 - Ultimecia (I think you guys totally forgot her, XD)
6 - Zell (he's probably the ally in Final Fantasy 8 in which I have less respect, always getting angry for nothing)
7 - Seifer (also I have no respect for this one...he's the "Osama Bin Laden" of Final Fantasy VIII, he wants to destroy everything and everything)
8 - Vanille (WTF, another copy of Selphie and Penelo?? Enough of this!!!)
9 - Kuja (he's just another idiot, like Sephiroth)
10 - Leblanc (I almost tought she was getting naked in the game)
Hehe, nice to meet someone who has the same opinion, Gilgamesh. ^^
First, all I can say about Sparx in the Legend of Spyro trilogy is that he didn't even make me smile, and that's really sad, especially when you realize he was supposed to be a comic relief. Some comic relief, meh...
Second, I actually didn't mind Globox in Rayman 2, but that's probably because there was no dub back then. He was a lot more annoying in Rayman 3. I happened to play both English and Czech version of that game, and somehow they managed to make him funnier in the Czech version. Which is weird, because our dubs usually suck.
Third, Tira... oh boy, my precious Tira. I LOVED her voice in SC3, despite everything critics and players said. Both her Japanese and English dub fit her character perfectly. I loved her design, there was nothing wrong with her. So, of course, they had to ruin it all in SC4. I don't even play her that much anymore, because her random stance changes are more I can handle. I went back to Ivy and her insane moves, some of which I can't even do. Yes, I'm talking about you, Calamity Symphony and Summon Suffering. Seriously, for all those years I play SC I've never managed to pull these off, not even once. I just don't understand how to do it. T_T
And fourth, Ektor. I must admit I've never beat the first Aero game, only finished the second one on my old Sega Genesis. The bonus Ektor minigame was the scariest part for me. When I heard his "Welcome", I never wanted to play it. ^^ Unfortunately I've never played the Zero games and I've never even heard of them up until recently. Then again, it was really quite difficult to get any videogames/consoles in my country when I was a kid, so I didn't have too many games. And I didn't know any other kid, who would be familiar with Aero, Sonic or Vectorman. Even today when I ask my friends about Soulcalibur, World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy, 90% of them would ask what the hell I'm talking about...
1) Cloud Strife (FFVII) and you are forced to use him in battle
2) Vayne (FFXII). I hate his hair and his nose.
3) Anna (Tekken 6), this whore.
4) Caith Sith (FFVII) at least you are not forced to use him o_O

Yeah I bet that happens with 99,99% of the persons from this forum (even with me). It's absolutelly normal my friend.
X) Athena (God of War series) She is such an annoying indecisive bitch
IX) Arthas (Warcraft) Reminds me too much of Sauron, replicas suck
VIII) Flotsam (Dark Cloud 2/Chronicles) Something about him just annoys the hell out of me
VII) Squall (Final Fantasy VIII) I only really hated him before you leave Balamb, he was way to depressing, granted he outgrew that and became a really good character IMO
VI) Paine (Final Fantasy X-2) Only Squall could pull off Squall, why they bothered trying to remake him with her was a failure.
V) Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII) I just don't get him, he barely has a real presence in the game... big deal he's a baddie with a Messianic complex. That was new, and interesting.
IV) Your Rival in Pokemon, he has always had a big ego and every time I faced him I just wanted to power bomb him every time I met him
III) Cloud (VII) I just don't get him, he just a very boring and uninteresting character for a great deal of the game.
II) Etna (Disgaea) Explain to me Etna's purpose really? Yes she controls Prinnies, but she strikes me as pedo bait. A chick with the body of a 12 year old, with no good back story and terrible presence in the Disgaea games. I liked Prinny more than her.
I) Kairi (Kingdom Hearts) I really, really hated Kairi.... her personality was detesting and her voice in both games in English was completely terrible IMO. Way too bubbly and has little to no real value to the story besides driving Sora
Now despite my hate of the two main characters in Final Fantasy VII, I absolutely loved the game... the story flowed very good.
Just a little bonus... my 5 favorite characters
V ) Squall (VIII) I really liked Squall once his attitude changed, he became a much more likable later on
IV) Rozalin (Disgaea 2 : Hour of Darkness) I really liked her character, she did it very well... a good change of character throughout the story and the interaction with Adell
III) Kefka (VI) I like him, he started off as an insane clown, then became an insane clown with power, then an insane clown that wanted to destroy the world, and then an insane clown that became a god. He was very in your face and a very good polar opposite to Terra
II) Cid Highwind (VII) By far, my favorite character in VII. I got him and almost never dropped him... it was a fun character with good personality.
I) Lightning (XIII) She actually trumped Cid, and when I first starting playing I thought "Wow Lightning is not as good as they built her up" but then I continued playing and she really opened up and became a character I could relate too because I am a Big Brother myself and understand how she feels toward Serah. Not to mention she is a strong female protagonist with a sensitive side.
chaosblade77- Wha...no, no you do not. Ever. Ever ever ever. Ever...evereverever. Ever. Metroid? And you consider yourself a gamer? At all? Do you even know what a Metroid is?...clearly you haven't played any game in THAT series.
I should have checked this topic again sooner, I love this comment.
Spoiler:
The GCN version of Metroid Prime is actually my favorite game of all time.
I'm surprised at all the Cloud hate though, I figured this forum would love him to death.

Most people I know who are avid about Final Fantasy don't Cloud that much really, as I said there are characters who were developed much better than him.
Take Cecil, Terra, Zidane, Tidus, Balthier (Yes I'm a Balthier fan), and even Squall once he got out of his whiny depressed state.
Cloud really falls short as a character, to most he is just the poster child of characters in JRPGs, quiet, big ass sword and spiky hair.
IMO Lightning is what Cloud should have been, both have a "similar" background but not that exact.
XIII - Jihl becuase she had potential to be a great Villian but instead she was just a waste of a character.
XII - Vann becuase he wasn't much of a character.
X - Seymour becuase I didn't like the way he talked.
IX - I liked all the characters tbh.
VIII - Rinoa becuase of the reason Arashi XIII gave. Selphie as well.
VII - Cait Cith becuase he sucked!
VI - I dunno I liked all the main characters and Villians(obviously character like Yeti don't count).
V - I didn't like nor hate any of them since character development wasn't really there in this game. Though the characters were made to be more likable due to the comedic exaggerated facial expresions used.
IV - That useless spoony bard of course!
I, II, III - Didn't hate nor like any of the charecters (I did like Firion though) for the same reason as V.
Other game:
Star Ocean the last Hope - Lymle becuase "Kay, Kay, Kay, Kay, Kay, Kay, Kay, Kay, Kay, Kay, Kay, Kay"

Yeah but people still praise him: "He's badass, he's awesome, he kills god's, he can kick Gokus ass(which is just untrue becuase Goku kicks everyones ass and he can take down Kratos with the use of just one finger...with a blindfold on). I hate him.
