Console Skins. Halp?

Well I found the limited edition faceplate on Best Buy's website for a dreaded $50. Much as I want it, it's just too pricey for some plastic that won't match the rest of my console. So I decided to go for a decal skin instead. Got one for my cellphone and loved it, and I feel it's time to "upgrade" my Xbox. I was thinking something along these lines, but it's still a work in progress:

My question is, I'm debating between two sites. Uniqueskins.com, and Leftskins.com. Does anyone here have experience with purchases from either of those sites? I'm worried about the quality if I order a custom decal. My previous experience was with Decalgirl.com, and I love their work. But unfortunately they don't seem to offer custom skins.

Cost isn't a big concern, the difference between $25 and $30 is negligible as long as I can get quality (and a matching Xbox instead of a miss-matched faceplate). So has anyone had any experience with either of those sites, or another that they loved?

I got a skin from uniqueskins and it was pretty good quality. I thought it was going to be a little bit thicker than it was, but overall the image quality was very nice. They also sent me a psd file so that I could make my skin in Photoshop in order to assure the highest quality images were used (I wanted to use .png images in my design (since they can have a much higher quality than .gifs, but their site didn't support the transparency in the .png format). So, I would recommend the site. Just for clarification, my skin was for PS3 though. My signature image is the one that I have on the top of my PS3 now. Hope that helps.

Finally came in, got some pics too

I purposely faded the edges to white, and I will say my one complaint is they trimmed the edges a bit more than I would have hoped (So there's a thinner border around it than I wanted at some parts). It's also slightly pixelated, but that's to be expected with their programs I suppose. Nonetheless, I'm very satisfied with it, and ready for Tuesday!

Tbh you'd look like a bit of a dick with the Versus side if it remains PS3 exclusive.

that's weird that it is pixelated. mine wasn't; but I'm guessing it could have been due to creating the skin on the site rather than getting an actual template from them in a very high resolution and then sending it back with my design on it... oh well, glad you like it. :-D

Yeah, unfortunately I couldn't find the site. The sides came out perfectly, but I used photoshop to get them to the right size. The front, I built right there in their editor (because I wanted the characters to not get cut out by the buttons). That's probably the issue.

Ah well, lesson learned. Photoshop everything first
