Other chapters are still being translated. Here are their names and what they're about:
SEARCH (Vanille and Fang)
PRESENT (Snow and Serah)
TOMORROW (Vanille and Fang)
Why am I posting this in an English board? Well, from what I've seen we have plenty of Chinese-speaking people in here, so I thought they would be interested in this.
Since i'm free now i did a brief translation. Hope it helps. I left out some parts which were hard to translate or were merely descriptions.
Stranger:
This chapter is about their awakening.
Fang and Vanille had completed a focus previously and were crystallized. They were awakened for a new mission.
After the awakening, neither of them could remember what happened previously. Everything was a blur.
Since the both of them had completed a mission before they were crystallized, they were sure that the world would welcome them back. They could worry about the new focus later on.
Vanille: Those people who knew us would have become grannies and grandpas.
Fang smiled and replied: Are you sure? Maybe we haven’t slept for that long and the people would ask why they are back so soon.
Vanille: How long exactly have we slept?
Fang: Maybe for a few days.
Vanille: If that’s the case, the Fal’cie were too much. They should have at least gave us half a year's vacation.
They carried on with their conversation until they were outside.
It’s night time but they could see the buildings clearly. Everywhere was so brightly lit. (Some further descriptions). They realised that they were not in Grand Pulse. Vanille closed and opened her eyes hoping to see something familiar again but no.
They returned back to the ruins (or temple ) knowing that they were in Cocoon and not Pulse. Feeling hungry, they knew that the place where the L’cies were placed would have food offerings. Other than food offerings, their weapons and personal belongings would be there too. It was said that these were done so that the L’cie could rest in peace. The real reason could be that it was to prepare the L’cie if they were to be awakened. Fang and Vanille both knew that food in the ruins could last up to 10 years (due to the clean and sterile atmosphere) and new offering would be brought in every 10 years. However, the food offerings there had decomposed and were not edible. The costumes and boxes used to contain them which were placed together with the crystallized L’cies were discoloured and torn. Even parts of Fang’s spear were a little different.
Fang: Everything had changed except us.
Judging from how the food had decomposed, they could tell that they had been crystallized for a long time (Most likely a 3 digit figure for the number of years).
Fang: Don’t even talk about the people we knew being grannies or grandpas. I guess they had all passed away.
Vanille looked down and bit her lip in sadness.
Fang: Don’t give me such a face.
Fang then gave Vanille a pat on the shoulder and stood up.
Fang: First, we have to fill our stomachs first. The food here can’t be eaten. There is ocean and even forest here so getting food is no big deal, it could be easily done.
Fang picked up her spear and smiled. Vanille on hearing what Fang had just said felt that she’s right and it could indeed be easily done.
Vanille then picked up her own weapon and stood up too.
TOTALLY. And it cannot leave any possibilities of a sequel. Just pure fanservice and story to keep us happy. Besides, do we really need that many action scenes?

CHAPTER 1
A light nap, with many dreams and much crying. But I couldn’t recall anything from these hazy dreams. That’s what sleep is.
Vanille could feel someone calling her and opened her eyes.
“Fang?”
I thought I felt someone calling me, was it just my imagination? Or is it the continuation of a dream? However, Fang who was supposed to be sleeping beside me was not in sight.
“Fang…… where are you?”
Vanille stood up and the scrutinized her surroundings. The start of each new day only brings forth more worry, yet why is it so?
I called out to Fang as I walked on the corridor. There was no need to raise my voice in the spacious atrium where every sound echoes in a crystal clear manner. As expected, a reply came resonating from somewhere below.
Running down the flight of stairs and hopping onto the lift, I already knew where Fang would be. As I jogged through the tunnel and towards that place, I could feel the wind caressing my face. It was still dark outside with the chilly dawn air blowing in from the entrance.
“What is it?”
Fang already had her head turned before Vanille called out to her.
“Nothing.”
She wanted to ask Fang what she was doing, but Vanille held back her question. She stood silently by Fang’s side, gazing at the sea and the sky, where there is an apparent absence of a horizon.
“It is strange-looking, that sky.”
Fang continued to stare at the dark sky. It was the same as the day they had awoken; the first thing that Fang did was to look up into the sky.
“We almost suffocated to see that there was a city hanging above our heads.”
Cocoon is a spherical planet, where the inner realms contain cities, oceans, and forests. The sealed environment around the planet is known as Cocoon’s “sky”. This is definitely different from the sky that we knew.
“Not only the sky, the ocean is rather peculiar as well, you can’t feel any of the waves.”
“You can feel it, only if you move very close to the ocean.”
“That’s why it’s so strange. I had even looked forward to it, thinking that the water would be drinkable, but it’s only plain sea water.”
“That’s because we thought that it was a lake at first.”
“Everything around here is all pretty weird.”
Fang sighed deeply.
“Incomprehensible, just like a dream.”
“Ah, and those guys can still manage to live in this kind of place.”
“Everything…… It’ll be great if everything was only a dream.”
Things that have happened yesterday, the day before, and on the day we awoke; if only everything was the continuation of a dream.
“If only today was the day that had we awakened.”
If reality starts only from now on, from this point onwards.. Perhaps it was ridiculous to have such thoughts or naïve hopes. However, be it me or Fang, aren’t the ways that we awoke the same?
“Isn’t it still the same? Complete your Focus then return to Gran Pulse. Other than that, what else is there?”
“Yeah, you’ve right.”
Vanille smiled as she nodded. Even so, she couldn’t help thinking that what might have happened if they did not awake on that fateful day; maybe such trouble and pain would be further away from them.
“I told you to stop worrying. It’s impossible to have a Focus that you can complete within just 3 days.”
She thought that the reason for Vanille’s troubled look was because today was the 4th day, but they have yet to achieve any sort of progress. 3 days only, Fang emphasised.
However, looking back on the happenings within these 3 days, anyone would feel overwhelmed with the amount of responsibility. It would have been better to remain in slumber and just doing nothing. In that way, no one will ever become involved in all this.
Vanille covered her eyes from the rays of the brightening sky with her hands. On that day of awakening, Fang and I were standing together, gazing at the sky just like this. Beyond us, we could see the faint outline of the city, Cocoon and an unexpected colour of the sky.
The colours of a new beginning.

thus, i am the better asian because your shitty asian sense of humor will not work on me.
Thanks redberrie. Initially i thought chapter one was prologue.
Here's part 2 of chapter 2:
It is already dawn. This is the best time to hunt when you are in dangerous enemy’s ground. There will be less passer-bys and it is not too dark.
They decided to go fishing in the sea first as it was less likely to lose their way than if they were to hunt in the forest. Furthermore, it was nearer to the ruins. Breakfast is not possible but getting the ingredients for lunch might be possible.
Vanille: Seems like breakfast is still possible.
Vanille in a daze, stared at the still alive fish in her hands. There is nothing unbelievable if Fang was the one killing the fish in one spearing shot. However, it was unbelievable that she managed to catch the fish so easily.
Vanille: Is there something wrong with this fish? Is it edible?
Animals which are easily hunted are either poisonous, have pungent smells or are not edible due to many other reasons.
“That was incredible young lady” said someone from the shore. Vanille took a defensive stance. However, back at the shore was an elderly couple smiling and clapping.
“What an interesting way to catch fish in Bowdam”
“It is hard to get this type of fish to take the bait. Looks like spear fishing is more appropriate than using the fishing rod”
Vanille did not manage to catch the name of the fish but it seems to be a common fish in Cocoon.
“So sorry to disturb the both of you” The elderly couple then smiled, waved to them and left.
Fang: Those must be Cocoon’s people. They seemed to be unarmed.
They thought they would be captured upon discovery. Their outfit were entirely different and were sure people would immediately identify them as enemies.
Vanille: Maybe they are slow like the fish. Furthermore, they are old.
Vanille then thought of another possibility.
Vanille: Maybe it was an oversight on our part. Maybe they went to get help from others. If that’s the case it would be too dangerous to go back immediately. We should wait to see what happens first.
They went back to shore. They figured rather than to stay put and hide, it would be better to gather information. Since they were in enemy’s territory they shouldn’t waste time. They were armed and trained. Even if they were to be ambushed they could still fight their way through. They had thought of scenarios in which they might be killed instantly and were therefore extremely cautious. However, the people they met were all unarmed and indifferent to them.
“What’s up with those people?” Fang murmured in disbelief. Vanille agreed too. The people were not alert at all.
Vanille: Maybe they don’t see us as enemies at all. But that’s impossible since we are armed.
At this moment, the flapping of wings could be heard distinctively. Fang drew out her spear. There are only two options if you encounter a flying creature- run away or fight. Vanille also drew out her weapon.
Vanille and Fang with their weapons in hand froze on the spot. The gigantic bird had been sliced into two.
“Why?”
“This is a flying monster yet it is so weak”
“Does this bird feed on plants and fruits? The beak and claws are all in good condition”
Vanille: Even if that is the case, it is too stupid. If we were in Grand Pulse, we would be dead in a second.
Fang: True, but if this is really the case we could have fish and meat as and when we like. That would be very generous.
Next, they realised they could get as much vegetables as they want too. There were farms and crops everywhere. No fences and no bird traps, it was like free for all.
Their first meal in the enemy’s territory seemed to be more sumptuous than they thought. If only they had the utensils as well, it would be perfect. However, it would be too luxurious already.
As they could not cook in the ruins, they started the fire outside. They used the costumes and other items offered to them in order to start the fire.
“The people who offered us these would be shocked to see what we are doing”
“Maybe we might even be punished?”
“We had to do so in such a situation. It would be fine”
“Survival is our priority so let’s eat”
Both of them tasted the freshly cooked meat.
“Yucks ! What is this?!”
It wasn’t because the meat was inedible or it tasted terrible. It was just too blend. The wild bird and fish might not taste as good as domestic animals or home grown vegetables. However, the vegetable which they got from the farm tasted the same.
“What kind of taste buds do the Cocoon people have?” Fang complained and at the same time took big bites of the meat. Vanille also started to eat her vegetables. If you are hungry nothing can taste that bad.
After dinner, they went back to the ruins. Cocoon is indeed a strange place. It has got slow fishes, birds that were not alert and weak and people who acted indifferently when they see others who were dressed differently.
“Should we go to the city to take a look tomorrow?”
“Why?”
“Staying here is not going solve our questions”
They need to gather information, know since when they were in Cocoon and why the whole ruins got shifted to Cocoon too. There were so many questions.
Fang: It is better to leave here too.
Vanille: Why?
Fang: Our focus. We might remember everything if we meet our enemies.
Vanille: There is no hurry, we just woke up.
Fang: Today is already the second day. Tomorrow will be the third day.
Vanille: Yes, but...
Fang: Are you scared?
Fang then looked at Vanille with gentle eyes and gave her a warm pat on the shoulder.
Fang: Don’t worry. We have seen those guys today. Even if they were in groups we are still stronger.
Vanille: No, i’m not worried. There is nothing to worry about when i’m with Fang”
Unwanted thoughts that she had dispelled, will it stay away forever? Or will they not exist anymore.
There was a sudden enlightenment. Vanille cheered up.
Vanille: Let us go take a look. We can do it.
Vanille smiled. For now, she just have to think about tomorrow.
Thanks Aleph for the link! =D I'd be more than happy to help out in the translation works as well =) But I guess we'll have to wait for them to be translated to Chinese first on that site, haha. Will do so when they're up. =)
About the descriptive scene at the beginning in Episode 2 of the STRANGERS chapter, does it really says that Fang breaks crying after she sees her burned out l'Cie mark?
About the descriptive scene at the beginning in Episode 2 of the STRANGERS chapter, does it really says that Fang breaks crying after she sees her burned out l'Cie mark?
I checked it closely. Fang is shocked to see her burned out l'Cie mark and says something about having "broken" it. Then she cries in Vanille's arms until she able to calm down. But what does she mean about having broke her l'Cie mark?
