The reason im asking is because DOC causes such confusion between how powerful the cast characters are. That woman (rosslo?) and cloud face off in the "Battle of Midgar" she then faces against Vincent and exclaims that she has not found someone stronger then her yet. (Which would mean she beat cloud?) Vincent beats her which would mean that vincent is stronger then cloud.
BUT, Cloud beat Sephiroth, by himself. So that would mean that Rosslo was stronger then Sephiroth...which would mean Vincent is stronger then cloud, rosslo and sephiroth. Which would mean that Chaos Vincent is stronger then cloud, rosslo, sephiroth and Vincent.
Arent you going to deep into this? I dont think Rosso really battled Cloud because their encounter was like maybe 5 seconds. Plus we have Cloud near the ending scene, so it seemed like their battle wasn't really serious.
About Chaos Vincent, I really dont know what kind of battle it would be like between C and V. But it would be close IMO because Vincent was able to defeat Omega in that form.
Wow man.... That's alot. Rosso the Crimson did say that she has not found someone stronger than her yet. But one has to keep the possiblity open about her skirmish with Cloud...I say Vincent probably is stronger than Cloud. Most likely Vincent was introduced to more Mako than Cloud was, and besides, his body had more time to adapt the supernatural strengths (and weaknesses...if there are any). And besides, we hear from Cloud after the battle between Vincent and Rosso.
I'm not so sure about Sephiroth. Because of the experiments Lucrecia let Hojo inflict on him it's kinda hard to totally understand that until we get information on the FFVII prequals. I'm not entirely sure if DOC said anything about those experiments. Sephiroth and Rosso the Crimson were exposed to different substances. Probably different forms of Mako. If that makes any sense. Chaos Vincent most likely is stronger than Vincent in his human form because Chaos is a demon created from some unknown place. Chaos is a super being, so he probably is stronger than all. He's not even human or semi-human (duh!).

Vincent or chaos vincent is stronger then rosso cause he kinda bought her to her end. which would mean vincent/chaos is stronger then cloud cause cloud and rosso had a 5 sec encounter but as you could see from her strike to cloud she was strong
its not really if someone can beat someone, then they're stronger then someone else. its mainly strengths and weaknesses. cloud beat sephiroth mainly due to emotions, not as much strength. vincents head mght explode if he came near sephiroth. no one knows
i think that physically chaos vincent would win, as that is a limit state, whereas he's fighting normal cloud with just attacks, then yes, vincent would win.
I don't think having the ability to fly really helps that much in the FFVII universe. Chaos-Vincent used wings but Sephiroth flew un-naturally but Cloud still whiped his arse.
I suppose it all depends on how the battle would be played out. From what it seems, Cloud can only use Omnislash when his emotions are high so.
Also, simple correction: The thing we see in FFVII IS Chaos in DOB Vincent has more control over the form so its "Chaos-Vincent" which is good because Chaos-Vincent is much stronger then Chaos or Vincent.
