I'm feeling lame for even noticing this, but since we seem to have a thread for it anyway . . .
Apparently Play-Asia has multiple "preparing order" messages. When I checked earlier today, there was a clause that said 例外的に、お見積もりの発送日を過ぎる場合があります or "there are exceptional cases where we cannot meet the estimated shipping date".
Now it still says preparing, but there's no shipping date exception clause, so it looks like it should ship today!
Oh well, that's enough obsession for now. Off to do some Christmas baking!

I think it's probably a good idea to phone FedEx yourself to confirm. I've had them redirect shipments for me in the past and they were nice about it.
My PA order wik says the following: "Available/Reserved for your order/Ready for dispatch.
Please note that this indicator may fluctuate for regular stocked items. It may occur that an item was marked as reserved earlier but has sold in the meantime, leading to a change of displayed status.

I don't think it said that before, but I've looked at the page enough today that my eyes may be playing tricks on me. =)
3 more hours and my hopes of friday FFXIII will be dashed... somehow I will live. Still hoping.

I hope Renchi updates them with my address change. If it goes to Bournemouth I'm going to be pissed off.
That was like when my copy of Aion went to High Wycombe. I was like "Well for starters, GAME, I asked you to change the address. Secondly, Australia Post, where the fuck's my mail redirection?"
Then again, I have a strange feeling that Bournemouth is more than 20 minutes away from where you are now.
Also, the fact that it's 12:30 PM on the 17th - both here and Hong Kong - is just slightly disheartening.

Poor Shu. Bournemouth is 200 miles away. I'm going back there on Christmas eve though.

Sorry for everyone who did but I really am glad I decided on Renchi. I almost settled on using YesAsia. Of course I'll say that and it'll turn out Renchi are doing the exact same thing.
I ordered the lightning edition PS3 from ncsx and my Dad, who resides in Taiwan, through his company's connection got another lightning pkg. (limit 200 for Taiwan's release, for retail price w/o waiting in line like everyone else) PS3 for my younger brother who also wanted one but does not have enough money. I got overly excited and told my brother NOT to open the box until I get home (next week) and till both boxes arrive, we will be opening both boxes at the same time! hell.. epic.. yes.
However, I might opt to sell my lightning edition PS3 cus I already have one in the near future.
It's an 8 hour flight from Perth to Hong Kong. Even so, Fedex will insist on taking it to Sydney or Melbourne or some gay shit like that first, even though I'm almost due south. I wasn't expecting it until after the weekend anyway, but just knowing that it's on its way will soothe me.
