if we're talking about long term lovers here (I never like to use the word partner), it would truly be a test if you love them or not. If you love them, then stand by them. if you don't, do it in a respectful manner and leave.

if I had someone in my life and I told them, I kind of wouldn't be shocked, maybe a bit upset though, if he never wanted to deal with me again, even if I always kept trying to avoid sex in general. it just helps me know he never cared for me in the first place. I need love in my life, not sex. I can use a toy for the rest of my life to fulfill that need.

Talking about..people in love whether it be long or short term. It's not only a test of love, I could go without sex if that's the issue, it's also a test of morality. I know people who're afraid to live with such, like drink from the same bottle after them and stuff, imagine their reaction on kissing someone HIV+ =/

I know what you mean. the thing is though, I think part of it, comes from a lack of knowledge and a good deal of fear. not knowing too much about diseases like HIV and how it's transmitted and not transmitted, and then hearing people talk about HIV infected individuals can put a good level of fear into people's minds

Yup, lack of knowledge's the thing. My bf told me cause his lip was bleeding and i had a stubble rash from him with some bleeding spots xD
