Unless the total figures are more than 225k, it was still outsold by a PSP game in America.

You know, the PSP. Where Dissidia was pirated 5 million times.

"Well beyond 200k" especially with a higher price tag on the Mark of Mastery edition makes me think that the numbers are close enough that it doesn't make much of a difference to S-E. It's not like the 3DS's install base is so super sweet that it should be blowing the PSP out of the water. I'd imagine that they're still making a tidy profit off of a game that cost them very little to produce. I heard the development time was pretty short, even for a Kingdom Hearts game.

Well yeah it definitely was, announced as a tech demo at E3 2010, and then released in 2012. They churned that shit out.

You think so? I honestly didn't get any vibe like that at all. I just think they were lucky to already have things to work off of like the commands and character models, etc. Even though they've added plenty of new things. I think about 2-3 years is a good amount of time. It only seems fast when we look at others... coughVersuscough.

The game didn't feel rushed to me. In fact, I was surprised at the level of polish in some of the systems, the Spirit companion system in particular. I think they had the benefit of reusing a lot of assets and effects with their various commands and levels, which I would be more upset about if it weren't for the fact that there are only so many iconic Disney worlds to choose from. Level of presentation felt on-par with Birth by Sleep, easily.

Now given that it's a KH game, I absolutely HAVE to 100% it. I just think I'll be pulling out my hair when it comes to getting ALL the spirits to full Affinity. The busiest busy work I've ever seen. I think the idea there was to keep you busy until KH3 tbh.

Other than that, I'm very close to 100%
