FFXIII Mission 3 PLEASE HELP

I have not encountered this issue from anybody else across google. I have completed Missions 1,2,4,9,20-26,28,32 and 56. My issue I have all these checked on my mission list EXCEPT MISSION 3. M3 shows i have accepted the mission but have not completed it so i cannot accept any further missions. I have killed this M3 boss 2x before (Ugallu) so i know where he is at. I killed him before i accepted M3 and I killed him for Mission 4. Now he will not pop in his area even when i try to rezone. Im thinking im screwed and will have to give up

Any suggestions???

I don't get it. You said you killed him "before" you accepted the mission? And also for mission 4? Well, I'm pretty sure you've got a bug, because you can definately not kill a mission monster "before" you accept the mission, as they will only spawn "after" you accepted the mission. So I guess somethings not right.

I think that the first thing you should do is make sure that mission 3 is turned ON.

There should be a red star on your map and that red star should give you an idea of where the mark is. (in the Yaschas Massif - Tsubaddran Highlands)

And I don't think you have a bug, because if you're not fast enough in Mission 4, the enemies will summon this monster to the battlefield.

ya when i 1st killed him i was fighting some smaller wolves in the area he spawns by that ledge and in the middle of the fight he spawned on me i was like wtf...lol o well guess on to ffxiii-2 was just collecting extra acheievements anyway damn cactuar king shall elude me....

Quite Strange since It shouldn't be there at all until you accept the mission. Bug maybe?
