"Final Fantasy Versus XIII has not been cancelled, Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada said today via Twitter. Rumors that the long awaited sister project to Final Fantasy XIII and FF Type-0 had been cancelled first surfaced late last week.

In addition to denying the rumor, Wada said that he'd just taken part in a periodic meeting for the game. He remarked that the quality of the cityscape demonstrated during the presentation could make you lose your footing."
