Hmm, I'm both excited and kind of iffy with this one. I rather enjoyed XIII, besides the linearity. Story line sucked me right in. XIII-2 was announced, I was excited, not expecting it at all because the ending to XIII seemed pretty final to me. Played through 13-2, and it was pretty good, until I reached the end. DLC was announced - Me: "Great, I'll finally get to find out the ending to the game!" Played through DLC, utterly disappointed and pissed off. Don't get me wrong, DLC was alright .. but cliffhangers even after a second installment?
Hmmm.
Nevertheless, if XIII-3 is coming out, it should be interesting. And hopefully Square can improve the little bits and bobs that need tweaking with the newer games in final fantasy. I miss the true free roam.
