Levelling up Silver Chocobo?

I'm currently trying to level up my Silver Chocobo so I can clean up at Serendipity. My feathered friend is at Lvl. 5 but cannot advance any further on the Crystarium. What materials am I missing here? I have Potent Drops, Bolts, Chips, Engines and Crystals... Are the Potent ORBS the missing ingredient?

Yep! And you won't need the chips, engines, yadda yadda as the Silver Chocobo is not mechanical and does not take those items to level.

Aha! Thank you, sir. I've heard the Ghouls in Academia 400 AF are good for farming Potent Orbs. Time to close the gate me thinks and start over. Btw, am I the only one who hates that level? I like the rain-soaked, Blade Runner-esque city and the overdramatic music, but you can't walk two steps without some C'ieth crawling up your ass...

Academia 400 is the most annoying Episode in XIII-2.
If you are already in Dying World 700, that's the best place to farm Potent Orb. You will have lots of your Potent Orbs before you even notice it.
