It just how people replace actualy relationships with ones on the internet where your "girlfriend" might just as easily be a guy, and how you can love someone you've never physically met.

God i remember when Habbo used to be an obsession, a creepy onbession, then everybody started having boyfriend/girlfriend relationships over habbo.

Here's and interesting story.
A friend of mine loves MySpace, and a certain person left on the bulletin a message for someone to please call her.

So, my friend did. They became friends and he eventually introduced me to her.
(my friend is the guy, the one he met on MySpace is the girl)

We started talking, and yes fell for one another.
I've honestly never been happier in my life.

That is true, but I guess for the people who actually find someone to go out with in person OVER the internet, it would be different.
