Complete nuub to FF XIII

Just started this series on the Xbox 360 with no idea how to save game when I need to quit.

Please help

As with pretty much all JRPGs, you can't save until you're at a save point. It looks like a floating computer and is marked on your map, you can't miss it.

If I recall correctly, it actually takes a moment to point one out and say "Hey, this? This is how you save."

Yes, like everything else in the game it is literally smashed in your face several times.
