Snow and his summons

I don't know if I'm missing something, I haven't played the game in months.

When Serah and Noel first arrive in Sunleth, they find Snow who's now a L'Cie fighting the Flan King.

Why didn't he summon Stiria and Nix? Or if he was made a L'Cie but not by Anima, why didn't he summon any Eidolon?

I believe it wasn't Anima who made him a L'Cie the second time. But it doesn't matter anyways, in XIII their eidolons were sent to them by Etro, not Anima. I don't know, I don't think it's explained. Maybe he was given no help this time, not all L'Cie had summons...

Though, whatever Fal'Cie made him L'Cie this time, it comes from Grand Pulse. He's got the pulsish mark. Marks from Cocoon Fal'Cie had their own kind of mark.

...because he didn't need to? Maybe he didn't even had one. Eidolons in XIII appeared because the l'Cies were doubting themselves/needed a push to go on. It was implied (as far as I can remember) that Snow volunteered to be a l'Cie this time, so he may not have needed the help.

This is the answer to just about every plot question anyone has about the game. One can find plenty of arguments and many reasonable explanations to any given question, sure. You can make all kinds of excuses for the developers and the plot. But we all know this is the real answer.

I forgot that it was Etro who gives the Eidolons.

I somehow hope they make an appearance in the DLC!
