It comes after the Federal Government amended legislation to create a new classification for R18+, which is expected to come into effect on January 1, 2013.
That's great and all, but it doesn't fix the plight of the flat chested porn stars.
I wasn't aware this was a problem for women in the porn industry. I applaud Australian porn stars for not totally butchering their bodies with plastic surgery. Meanwhile, on the gay side, I'm perfectly fine with the dicks I've seen in Australian gay porn. The solution is clear, Rob. Stop watching the straight stuff.

Re-read what I said. They're forced to get plastic surgery if they want to appear in porn. The classification board in Aus says a grown woman with A-cup breasts doesn't exist and that it must be a child. They'd have to get breast surgery to be legal.

YOU WORDED IT PRETTY DAMN AMBIGUOUSLY. But see, I did not know any of this. That's quite ridiculous. I love how this thread has now become a discussion on Australia's porn industry.
Congrats! Apart from Rule of Rose, what have you missed out on? Or was everything just censored beyond recognition?
Syndicate was banned and EA opted not to jump through hoops to get it down here. Mortal Kombat was banned. The Witcher 2 had an edit of some kind with regards to sex. Those are the more recent ones. Left 4 Dead 2 might get changed to the uncensored version on Steam, everything else is kind of too old to matter at this point.
But it wasn't just about things getting banned, it was also the things that weren't banned when, in an 18-less rating world, they probably should have been - Games that got an M or 18 rating in NA and EU that were sold to 15 year olds here. Shit like that undermines consumers, the industry and the ratings system itself.
Maybe we'll get the PS3 version of Deadly Premonition, after the publisher decided not to release the 360 version because they thought it would be banned anyway.
