Going to jump on the bandwagon here and ask if anyone can re-upload these files??? Really want to get the FFXIII cutscenes in a decent quality but can't find them anywhere since megaupload was shut. Anyone able to reupload them??? I'd be eternally grateful to you

After a relentless quest over the Internet I finally found a GREAT TORRENT which points to ALL the cutscenes and works apparently fine (I just started a few minutes ago and it's already at 6%).

During this quest I found this forum and I thought I had to share the link with all of you and other people attempting to accomplish the very same quest . So I registered and Here I am !

Anyway, here is the torrent page ! (Please be careful : cutscenes might be spoilers if you don't have finished the game yet)

Since there are download buttons galore out there, I will simplify your task, the right download button is this one . If you don't have a torrent client, I recommand this one.

Nope (still downloading because I dont let my laptop all the day on), but it's 6.5 GB so I presumed it was pretty good.
Moreover the file format is .mkv, so I guess the encoding is H.264 (mkv's are often in H.264 and it's the most efficient encoding yet).

On the torrent page it's said that it's 7 hours long (so I think there are also on-the-fly rendered cutscenes, and not only full motion videos).

We have 7 hours and 6.5 GB, which gives a divx like time/weight ratio, BUT in mkv (and H.264), there are HD movies (720p) encoded in ~1GB.
So approximately 1h30' for 1GB => the ratio is 1.5 hours per giga
With this ratio, 6.5 Go would give us 9.75 hours of HD video; and we have here 7.

In conclusion, I would say that the quality is almost surely of 720p, but it's just assumptions .

Even though Éclair was a great help with this, your files had much better quality than the one in the torrent ;_; and the fact they were cut was specially good for someone as lazy as I. Of course it's understandable if you don't want to go through the trouble of re-uploading all of that.
