Battle teams

I just wanted to know what good battle teams I should use. Right now I'm mostly using Lightning/Snow/Hope. I use lightning as Commando since she can really deal out damage, Snow i use him as ravager so he can build up the stagger meter, same goes for hope. I just feel weird because i know I'm not dishing out as much damage as i could be. I feel bad using lighting as RAV because i really love the feel of commando with her and her strength is higher than her magic. On the other hand Snow SUCKS as ravager but he has huge health so i dont have to worry about him as much. For when there is one enemi left i normally use aggression since Lightting and snow's strenght is so high. I really dont know what to do. I jut really HATE sazh. Also with a 2RAV 1COM (Light, Hope, Vanille) i feel worried about who take damage since Snow's out of the picture...

Any suggestions?

While Im more then positive that this has been asked before, and you could have found the answer with a quick search of the forums, the 'best' team to use is Light/Fang/Hope, Light and Hope as RAV and Fang as a COM, Light can double as a Com and Hope (having the highest Maigc stat) is excellent as a RAV and Med. Fang deals out the most damage and also acts as a good SEN, plus has access to the Faithra and Bravera skills in her SYN roll, for extra damage potential.

Like I said, the 'best' team is really upto you, every character has their strengths and weakness, so it's basically down to personally preference, but when I get the chance to choose my team, it's always Light/Fang/Hope, I may sub Light for Vanille when Im farming for trapz though.

^That's the best team for me too, but I find Fang to be a better leader. Highwind is really helpful with the big turtles.

I've started my second playthrough. I remember I've always used Lightning/Fang/Hope.

Lightning as Com/RAV
Fang as Com/Sent
Hope as Med/Syn

But I remember in some of the tougher battles a Sab is needed too. Will Fang get the Saboteur role too further on in the game? Cant remember..

She either has it from the start or gets it pretty soon, because she has it in Palumpolum. She starts with Slow/Slowga though. I think Vanille has better abilities as a sab.
