This is needed way earlier actually, there's no opportunity to access your menu before or after the shiva battle. Put my first HP+100 bangle on him back at the beginning of the ch too... Grr.

Apparently, the main goal is to allow the Shiva sisters to pound Snow until their Drive gauge is full. The best Optima roles to use are HLR/DEF for this. Shiva sisters will continue to attack Snow until their drive fills up. Choosing to guard on the DEF role while using HLR when necessary is the way to go.

Can someone also confirm this as well?

your correct ive seen video streams as well showing snow defending until the shiva sisters drive fills all the way up.

actually if you puase the game then press retry you can go to the menu and take off accesorys from him.

for increasing the bar fast for shiva battle just go into DEF/SENT mode, have snow do regen guard when the shiva is about to attack him

Im surprised that I didnt read this on here first. I received my offiecial walkthru guide the other day and it says to go into Sentinel mode IMMEDIATELY and chose auto guard, snow will then learn the STEELGUARD command and use it to replace auto guard and from this battle forward on sentinel. It gives the ability to receive attacks and lose very little HP. I hope this helps. I had already fought them using another technique in this post and beat them with no trouble but I value new abilities so I went back to a previous save point and fought them again.
