PS3 all the way, no question. All awesomeness games comin out for it this and especially next year. Versus XIII is gonna be a real badass game so u really might as well get a PS3 just for it. Also, blu-ray, 120GB/250GB/extendable hard disk, free internet browising i.e. no need to PAY for just USING the net, downloading games by buying/renting them directly to ur PS3 if u don wanny buy em physically, Versus will likely make use of the upcoming Motion controller for the PS3 as well and trust me, that makes for a better sword than Natal lol.

Ah..well.. you certainly have a point there. Also, it'd be difficult to perfomrm most of the moves lol. But maybe for some other things, I have no idea like what though
I've got both consoles, if you dont' own any then get it for the PS3. I'm buying it on 360 for 2 main reasons, trophies suck i prefer achievements and i've had my 360 for years, i've only had the ps3 for 2 months so i only get exclusives right now.
I agree with most people here, look what exclusives are on both consoles and decide that way as there is not point bringing FF13 into it as it included on both formats. If you're getting a 360, you should really spend a bit more money on it otherwise it'll be a waste of money getting just the arcade version. I would say aim to get a PS3 first and then wait and get a 360 if you still want one as both consoles have their perks and cool exclusives but also do your research. Exclusives on xbox now may be released on the PS3 a year from now and vice versa.

Ignore which console is stronger in power. Both of consoles are really similar and best looking games will look almost the same. Though i would give here advantage to PS3 because of PS3 architecture.
My advice is that u look at exclusive games of PS3 and XBOX360 and compare them. Which ones u like the more??
PS3 - Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5, Uncharted 1&2, Final Fantasy Versus 13, God of War 3, Resistance, Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, Last Guardian....
XBOX 360 - Mass EffecT 1&2, Halo 3 & ODST, Gears of War 1&2,, Forza , Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon..
I guess u notice but ps3 have much more exclusive games that have better quality then similar games on xbox 360, for example compare Halo and Killzone 2 or Gran Turismo 5 and Forza. In both cases PS3 wins!
Note that PS3 will have FInal Fantasy Versus 13 as exclusive game + probably there will be Kingdom Hearts 3.
Stuff is that XBOX 360 japanese RPGs are not really good. I experienced me and they are honestly mehy..
Most of other big games are on both consoles!
Stuff is that atmosphere and experience of exclusive games on xbox 360 and ps3 are really different..
They are made for other type of gamers. Xbox 360 doesn't have Playstation atmosphere at all and exclusive games feel alot of different .. I read somewhere that XBOX 360 is made for frat gamers while Playstation 3 is console for hardcore gamers. So even though xbox 360 have exclusive japanese RPG games, they don't feel like old playstation japanese rpgs at all. Trust me!
Sadly i got xbox 360 , but only reason is because i don't have money for original games so i play copied games!... That i have money i would get myself PS3 =)
On xbox 360 i mostly play multiplayer..
So if u don't have problems like me - GET YOURSELF A PLAYSTATION 3 AND BE ONE HAPPY GAMER.

I voted both, because personally I like having both systems a lot better than when I just used to have one. It gives you more options. Expensive, but worth it, imo
