I don't know, becoming a Cie Corpse would do her fabulous tits a terrible injustice...plus, we all know how faggy Nomura is when it comes to giving players something to gawk at, all the while being a little pervert himself, so I doubt they'll do that to her.

Isn't that technically the opposite of faggy? Besides, Nomura has played around with monstrous female enemies before, and she can keep her tits if he goes for the stereotypical human-shaped god monster for her. In fact, it's been used before as an excuse to get female characters into less clothing.

I didn't mean faggy as in "omfg he's so gay", I just used the word because I'm trying to use it like how some people say "I'm so ghey for so-and-so"! Anyways, Cie Corpses can't be sexy, since their bodies are twisted and deformed so badly, that only their faces remain recognizable. I don't see Jihl keeping her gorgeous tittays after transforming into a Cie Corpse, m'kay?
Why? Simply because of sleep stasis. What I'm thinking is after being crystallized, sleep stasis happens and maybe the enemy or something found a way to reverse it. And then what happens is that those who were crystallized hundreds of years ago, awaken in the future.
Could be the case for Fang and Vanille cause of what Lightning said in the novel about seeing them. Something about their fashion. It's like she's never seen a person from Pulse before. Then again, where they are from, they could just simply be hiding or something. Then there is also the bit about what Serah said about those living on Pulse being barbarians and the planet being unlivable cause of monsters and frequent natural disasters. Fang and Vanille don't look like barbarians.

As Jihl is a major villain, she would of course be the exception to the rule with Cie Corpses for the same reason that Seymour Guado didn't just become a regular old fiend when he went unsent. You see, important story characters do everything better than everyone else, like taking millions of bullets, and this usually includes descending into monsterdom. This goes doubly so for women, and doubly doubly so for especially sexy women!
Yeah, I don't think Serah dies. Turning into a crystal, I have a feeling is going to be reversible, unlike cie corpses.
I just hope the "sad scene" isn't about Serah and is better than Aeris's death, because I never found it that sad. Aeris was just too bland a character for me to care about and when I first saw it, I felt nothing. And so far Serah seems to be similar to Aeris.

Don't underestimate Nomura's ability to play with the rules to suit big nasty female boss monster things.

Should Jihl turn into a Cie corpse, it'd be the perfect ending to someone who despises the L'Cie. Now, that's if she happens to become on unless she is already one or even has the intention of turning into an L'Cie.
Again, I'm sure that becoming a Cocoon l'cie would be seen as an honour, since she'd be fighting against the Pulse l'cie that "threaten their very way of life" (<3 Yaag). The Holy Government only views Pulse l'cie as dangerous, not ALL l'cie.
But in the E3 trailer didnt we hear that all l'cie should be killed. That seems like something that she would say when she was a soldier of the holy government

I still have to wonder why they have maybe (big maybe; it's one revealed attack name) changed Alexanders element to earth instead of just giving Hope Titan. After all, with the mech designs they've been giving all the summons, converting Titan wouldn't have been hard.
^^Titan was actually my 1st pick for Hope's summon as well. Perhaps SE initially wanted him to have Titan but later decided to use Alexander. Or...Alexander could be a dual elemental?
I wonder if this might be the result of a new Chocobo breeding system where you can make ridiculously strange chocobo's and more generic looking ones, dont know if that'd make them get rid of the colour factor however (red is ma favourite :3).
Like maybe Sazh has an Urban Chocobo and Vanille is riding a mountain breed, or dare I say... an inbred chocobo?

I would love to see some chocobo breeding! But the reason that the chocobos in those shots look like that is because they're Pulse chocobos, which reportedly have a more wild look and those weird ear feathers. I think they're kinda cute.
