Given the fact Hope has Alexander makes me think they won't give out another holy speced summon to a character. Although I do see where you are going with it.
The phoenix possibility is pretty high right now. I will go out on a lim but everything in the trailer points that Vanille majors in spell casting so perhaps a buff summon (maybe not carbuncle?)
yea my predictions right now is either phoenix or titan. but then again, i kinda leaning towards leviathan as wel....ahh my head hurts >< just wait till nov 13 i guess...6 more days...
Yeah but phoenix is usually fire based, even though it revives people at the same time. We already have a fire based summon, so leviathan is far more likely.
what if she has not have her mark yet ? thats why she is markelss ! I know pervies will get upset but really what if she has not have her mark yet
That could be very possible! I mean, in all the official renders of the characters they don't show the L'Cie marks explicitly, and anyway for the 5 characters of which we already know the locations of their marks, the marks are all covered up, so we don't know whether their renders are "pre-L'Cie" or "post-L'Cie".
That said the other argument would be that there's the footage (I can't remember which trailer) of Snow, Lightning, Sazh and Vanille being zapped together by the blue-tentacled Fal'Cie, which shows that they became L'Cies together. (Or did I remember wrongly who was there when it happened? Like, was Hope there too?) So unless they did such a good job of hiding Vanille's L'Cie mark in all the screens she's appeared in so far... Her mark could really have to be hidden somewhere under what little clothes she has on!
Haha, thanks caller_of_BS and inoeex! So guess that helps back my argument in my previous post up.
On another note; that means our 5 characters become L'Cies together, with Fang probably joining last already as a L'Cie when we first meet her as shown in the TGS trailer.
As a fighting style... Not sure. Maybe it can just cause all sorts of status effects like poison, slow, stop, dispel, stone, confused, or something... What would it transform into? Hell if I know.
Really though, I have no idea what she could possibly get. Square is being hush hush about her. She's a mystery compared to all the other main characters.
Eidolons aren't as telling about a character as initially hinted?
When it was said that the Eidolon represents what's in the character's hearts, I never really thought myself that it would be a big revelation into significant story secrets when they were revealed. Rather, it's probably a more subtle, psychological and even metaphorical display of the character's inner self.
I suppose. Some people still seem pretty set on Vanille getting an original summon, and I can sorta see their reasoning. That would make Brynhildr the only new playable summon in this game, and I'm not sure Square has had that few new summons in a main series installment in quite some time. Of course, that doesn't mean anything, and if Alexander is earth element as he may be, I find a water elemental summon like Leviathan incredibly likely.
