Also is Appleseed Ex Machina good? I watched the original years ago and I have a copy of Ex Machina I haven't watched yet. As soon as I heard John Woo was involved I acquired it but unfortunately I forgot to watch it.

Yeah, it's all right. Quite attractive, good cast. Gets a bit... silly at the end (oh Christ, I laughed so much), but the action's well done, so it's pretty forgivable. Better than the first one in most aspects. Although I got a bit fucked in the arse by the dubbing being done in Texas instead of California - no Mary Elizabeth McGlynn this time. ;;
