AO is a poison rating that's really only viable on the PC. Most retailers won't touch a game that's AO. And the console makers won't license them for their systems.

Rockstar's the only studio I can think of thanks to the Manhunts getting an AO rating. And of course any company that had to edit the Australian release of their game before Australia caught up with the rest of us.

I feel like most games don't care about the rating as much as say movie studios try to edit things after getting their initial ratings sometimes
